Do Ho Suh
After going to the New Museum on Saturday we stopped by the Lehman Maupin gallery on Chrystie street to check out the Do Ho Suh installation, Reflection. It's a full-scale recreation of a traditional Korean gateway in his childhood home, fashioned from gossamer aqua-blue nylon-mesh. Suh never dissapoints and needless to say it was breath taking. 100 times better than anything we saw at the museum and it didn't cost a dime to see.

these photos aren't nearly as vibrant on my work computer as they were at home, so if they look a little dull to you the installation was actually quite intensely blue.
