I heart you, Miranda
I saw Miranda July wandering around The Whitney today at the Whitney Biennial. Due to the fact that I have a serious girl crush on her and I think she is one of the most fantastic "famous" people on earth, this was hands down my best celeb sighting so far in New York. And I ate dinner across from Woody Harrelson once folks.
So anyway, check out the Biennial if you can, because it's really great-despite all its bad reviews!

i never ever see celebs...even when i'm w/ peeps who see them i some how miss them. although i did talk to bjork once in victoria's secret when she was trying to decide btwn briefs of bikini...yeah, she wasn't too stoked.

Oh my Lordy Lawd. I love Miranda July and have had the biggest Female Non-Sexual Crush on her since I read No One Belongs Here More Than You. I would say that I want to be her best friend and share clothes and make-up, but that would make me seem stalkerish and weird, which would unwise for my first comment on your awesome blog.

My brother worked for her ex-boyfriend. That's like 3 degrees of separation. I read her book in about two sittings. I could not put it down. She has one of the most original voices out there today.
