A few weekends ago I got a can of paint out to do minor touch-ups around the house–such as painting the light switches and electrical outlets–which led to me painting all of the ugly 80′s oak pieces in our bathroom. It’s definitely a temporary solution, but I’m quite happy with what a can of paint and new door knobs can do. The real remodel will come much later, i’m afraid.
On a related note, this Decorno post made me feel much better about the state of my house. I love how she personifies her house, it’s the absolute best! I have yet to determine the gender of my house.
