The Gap x Colette

The Gap is opening a Colette pop-up shop for one month in NYC, and while this seems very rad, I know it will be not so rad for me because A. things like this in NY means SO CROWDED YOU WANT TO CRY and B. 54th st? That means I have to go on the weekends, meaning even more crazy crowds.

Lately New York and it's crowdedness has been pissing me off. Tourist season is making me crrrraazzzyyy!! Can't wait for Fall, cannot wait for the crowds to die down and the weather to cool off.

I know exactly what you mean...it is frustrating to see so many people all the time. I wish they all would go away!!

i think that's the greatest thing in NYC, the seasons really wax and wane (in terms of people) and makes you appreciate it all again. i loved the winter when everyone would hibernate...

hmm... i think it's easier not to feel crowded by tourists in London, because we're spread further, and it's easy to avoid real touristy areas. I wish I could visit the Gap-Collette store though... although there's no quick route from London!!

I'm with you 100 percent! Summer is pretty cruddy, especially in NYC. It makes me incredibly cranky. Sweating like a pig while waiting on the subway platform before I've even made it to work, smelly standing water in the gutters, WAAAAY too many tourists crowding the streets, oh how I am counting the minutes until Fall, my favorite favorite season (Winter's a close second)! Hang in there!
