Get thee to the Folk Art Museum
Due to the storm yesterday we couldn't go to the MGMT show, so had to find something else to do (although apparently even if there hadn't been a storm we would have been screwed) So we FINALLY went to the Folk Art Museum to see the Dargerism show.
AMAZING. If you can, go! I've never been to the Folk Art Museum before and I thought it was fantastic. Not just the Dargerism show inspired me, the whole damn place was filled with amazing art. And here I thought I wasn't a fan of folk art. Wrong.

I was at the Folk Museum too! I went to see the Henry Darger around 12:30 pm were you there then?
I love the show and particularly loved seeing Amy Cutler's work up close. She and Justine were my favorite.
I was there at like 2, but how WEIRD! It would have been hilarious if we'd run into each other, though I don't even know what you look like! Soooon...2 more weeks til the meet up!
Amy Cutler was definitely my favorite, if I was forced to choose a favorite.
