Misato Suzuki

A few months after we moved to Manhattan I went through this phase of sitting in front of the windows or on the fire escape, making little line drawings of the view of all the clustered builings and my favorite, fire escapes. It’s a little cliche, I know, but something is just so amazing about all the madness of the buildings in a crowded city. So naturally Misato Suzuki‘s line drawings of city scenes (Hong Kong, Tokyo, Paris to name a few) get a special little place in my heart. Her paintings are lovely too, but I like the drawings best.
