Vintage Hitchcock Movie Posters
Last weekend I went to an antiques trade show that Billy set one of the booths up for, and among all the amazing things I saw what stuck in my head the most was this incredible French version of an original movie poster for The Birds. (It looked just like this only in perfect, non-folded condition and in a beautiful frame) I couldn’t get it out of my head all week and went hunting for something similar.
Um yeah, let’s just say that vintage Hitchcock posters are probably the most expensive movie posters on earth (the Rear Window poster is $10,000.00 – $15,000.00). But le sigh how amazing are these (My three favorite Hitchcock movies) that I found at Cinema Masterpieces? I would settle for a reproduction perhaps, but that’s probably not the same. The Vertigo one is fantastic.
