I just wanted to thank everyone for their really nice comments and emails about wishing Wendy well. We brought her home from the vet Monday night, and despite having some gnarly stitches and a resulting cone on her head, she seems extremely happy. We’ve heard her purr for the first time and she even slept with us in bed! She has to get one more surgery in a few months, but it’s very routine and she should be fine. She’s eating like a pig and entertains us by running into things with her cone. I’m really glad she pulled through because she’s an absolute peach.
