My guidelines for gifts are to keep them simple, special, and carry a bit of my aesthetic in them without forcing it onto people who are not into mine. Either give something useful or give something that will remind that person of your relationship with them. When all else fails, giving something small that’s a bit lux or unique is always nice. I love getting gifts like that. I also tried to keep this in the mid-price range, nothing extravagant.
clockwise from top left: Neil Young Decade LP – Moleskine Volant Pocket Ruled Notebook (Two Tone Set) – Charlie Harper’s ABC’s – Holga Starter Kit – Hayden-Harnett Coin Purse – Gift a custom itunes playlist (mixtape 2.0, do not gift this to itunes/mp3 challenged people, like my mother, who never downloaded hers I gave her in March)
clockwise from top left: Dwell Studio Maze Pillow – Jalea Jalea Dodecahedron necklace – Samantha Hahn Print – The History of Love (good for your mom) – The Road (good for your dad) – Sephora Scent Sampler (this is super cool – they send you all these little perfume samplers, you pick which one you like and then bring in the voucher for a full bottle of that perfume!) – Wooden Banjo (for Andrea’s little one to learn like her dad)
There are so many, many things I left out for the sake of keeping this short and sweet, and I must mention that I will be doing a separate ALL ETSY gift guide next week, so fret not to those of you who are taking the handmade pledge this holiday season.
