I added this of mine, which is now occupied by my new desk! Our living room is a disaster right now from painting and rearranging, but as soon as it’s cleared up I’ll take a photo. It is vintagetastic.

My Steven Alan hat came! It is the perfect shade of blue, and is the warmest, softest thing to ever touch my head. Glad I got on that because they are gone, gone, gone my friends.

How great are these salt and pepper shakers by pmod? I think I’d like to be one of those old ladies who collects salt and pepper shakers.

Last night’s Department of Eagles show was just incredible. Billy and I both couldn’t stop talking about how good it was afterwards. But not only were they good, the opening band, Here We Go Magic, was really damn good as well. I’d love to see them again as their music was the kind that restores my faith in going to shows. Sometimes I loathe going to see live music because often bands are dissapointing live, the crowd is annoying, the whole experience is expensive and a pain in my ass. But this got a huge gold star.

Wendy was feeling left out of the blog lately. She’s been a total jerk the last few days because we rearranged the living room and apparently that was the end of the world for her so she keeps us up every night running back and forth in the apartment as fast as she can and knocking every single thing over on every flat surface she can get to. But still, can you see why I can’t stay mad at her?

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I’m taking Monday off from blogging but will be back Tuesday. But as always, my posts will be up over at Truant Saturday and Sunday.

This weekend I’m hoping to finally get a desk! I have a few vintage options in mind at some places I need to take a trip to. Wish me luck. The hunt is on.

I’m super excited because not only do I have Monday off, but we have tickets to see The Department of Eagles, my favorite new band as of late. I love this live version of “In Ear Park”. Hear some of their songs on their myspace page, I highly recommend their album, In Ear Park.
