A lot of you have been asking about what kind of camera I use. While I’d like to think that it’s not just the camera that results in my amazing photos (I kid), I suppose it has a bit to do with it as it is the best camera ever. It’s a Canon Digital Rebel XS and I love it.

I put this info over yonder on the sidebar for future reference. Maybe someday I will make a FAQ’s page with other terribly fascinating information such as, I am addicted to soy crisps and have a crush on Wyatt Cenac.

80-90 degrees, some sun on my skin, a barbecue, the flea market, gallery hopping, currywurst (I ate way too much meat this weekend now that I think of it), and one damn hot apartment (I refuse to put the a/c in for just four days of 80 something. Sleep was interesting last night). I more than survived the heat (kind of loved it since it’s not here to stay). New York was so alive this weekend.

Also, I splurged on a Sabina bag (from urban) but I kind of hate it. It’s too big. I never thought I’d say that. Sending it back, hope they take back a purse I took out for a spin…

Ahhhh what a wonderful sweat filled weekend I have ahead of me! (the weekend forcast is 85). Part of me loves the sun, but let me tell you, I’m a 70 and sunny kind of girl, and I prefer it to not get any hotter unless I’m laying on the beach. I wither like a flower, I bitch and moan and get dizzy in anything above 80, and I’m mildly allergic to air conditioning. Basically I’m that nerdy child everyone rolls their eyes at. I caused my entire kindergarden class to leave a farm once because I got violently ill from the smell of the cows. Yeah. Hot New York sidewalk garbage, you are my enemy.

Anyway, thanks for the fantastic response to the upcoming Etsy shop! I am going to try my damn hardest to get those necklaces to work out to sell, but until then there will be other lovely things. I’m hoping it’s a success as I would really like to buy 87 pairs of those Swedish sandals.

Also this makes me fall of my chair and save fashion makes me squeal with excitement.

The shoe gods have spoken. Swedish Hasbeens that ship to the US. They’re not particularly cheap, but they slide in right around my shoe price rule, and are cheaper than the A.P.C. wooden shoes I covet.

I bought these amazing vintage sandals, but no matter how much I try to trick myself, they are too small.

Perfect condition, 9 Narrow (a little detail I neglected to notice when buying them), so they fit an 8.5 best I would guess, because they allllmost fit me, but not without pain.

Hold the phone. I know I said goodbye for today, but I’m listening to NPR’s music podcast (best thing ever) and they played a new song from St Vincent, and my brain exploded. They even have the entire album online for you to listen to. I’m not even all the way through and I know this is my new Department of Eagles that I will push on everyone that ever crosses my path for the next few months. It’s incredible. Do yourself a favor and listen to the new album, Actor, here on NPR.

My new jeffrey cambell sandals came, and they are fantastic (Wendy gives them the thumbs up too even though she doesn’t have thumbs. amazing). I wore them to the laundromat last night for a test drive, and they are soft like butter and the soles are super comfy. Well worth the more-than-I-usually-spend-on-sandals amount I paid.

And and and, I got some new embroidery floss in fabulous peachy colors, so I made a new necklace, and a bracelet. I want to make more for the upcoming Etsy shop, but they are not super sturdy and come unraveled a bit on the ends. I need to remedy this before selling them because I will feel super bad about selling you shoddy necklaces.

I’m a busy bee today at work so I’m signing off today.
