New Au Revoir Simone
I can’t even tell you how excited I am for the new Au Revoir Simone album, Still Night, Still Light. It comes out May 19th, but their new song, Shadows, is up on their myspace page to hear now. I heard it a few weeks ago on KEXP and fell head over heels, but was so sad to not be able to find it anywhere online until now. I can tell their sound has matured, and I can’t wait to hear the rest of the album. I’ve been following them ever since I worked with Erika years ago, and she invited me to see them in this tiny little venue in my neighborhood. I was blown away by how amazing they were back then, and have been a stalker-like fan ever since. If you ever get a chance to see them live (they’re touring now, check their myspace page for dates!), you must as they put on the most dancetastic show ever.
