New York in the 40s

I love this set of photos of New York in the 1940′s. Here are some around my neighborhood. I love seeing what my grandfather saw New York as when he was my age (he grew up in Connecticut). Sometimes when I’m taking photos I wonder what will be the most interesting to me and others many, many years down the road.
