I just sat transfixed for six and a half minutes watching this Etsy Process video (a mini documentary) about Kim Westad, and how she makes her pottery. I didn’t even have much of an interest in pottery making, but I was in some sort of fascinated trance. Maybe it’s Kim’s ridiculously soothing voice? She should read books to me while I fall asleep. Also, she makes it look so dang easy. I’m quite sure mine would be blobs and not lovely, lovely vessels like hers:

I don’t know about you, but I for one am not sick of cute tote bags yet. I use mine until they fall apart. It does, however, take a lot for one to jump out at me these days as they’re everywhere you turn. I love this Saturday Morning tote by MrPS.

The Brooklyn Botanical Garden, the craft fair, a dinner party where I drank too much wine, a crazy hangover Sunday from said wine, laying in the park watching the dogs and the babies, and intense Spring cleaning in preparation for our apartment swapping this week. A pretty quiet, lovely weekend. I took a few photos for organized collection, after finding things while cleaning.

After sharing with you my discovery of the great fjallraven bags, I went on a hunt to find one somewhere cheaper. Make It Easy found them at The Sporting Lodge, but they didn’t have it in the color I wanted (putty). But I found them at Tamarack Outdoors in the UK. It took a little less than two weeks to get to me, and saved me roughly $20.

I took it out for a spin last night, and while the mini is a bit more..well, mini than I’d pictured, I fit my camera, wallet, umbrella, and sweater in it perfectly. I’s perfect for weekend photo taking trips. I’m very happy with this little guy!

Hey guys, sorry for my disappearing act today. I will be following this trick with the exact same one tomorrow, most likely. I am super busy at work and when I get home I want to watch bad movies like Twilight and eat brownie batter ben & jerry’s and NOT touch my computer as much as possible. But, I plan on making up for it this weekend by posting a bit. Does this funny photo of Wendy make up for it? Or does my pair of pants lounging in the background in that “I just took these off” way creep you out too much? I know you need me and my shoe tempting ways, I shall return.
