This Saturday in Brooklyn, some of my prints and booklets will be for sale at the Prospect Park Craft Fair! See my work, along with others, at the Mabee Works booth, a great company my friends Emily and Chris run.

The photo above is possibly the worst photo I have ever taken in my life, but it’s dark, my apartment is small, and you get the idea. Below are two new pieces I’ve made recently for this series. This all leads into my Etsy shop opening, but that won’t happen until I get back from vacation on the 19th, because it would be lame of me to open a shop, be open for one week, and then go on vacation. Jewelry will come later! I need to concentrate on one thing at a time.

Do you guys know what ChaCha is? It’s this amazing service that you can text a question to, and it will text you back (a real person) an answer! At work we talk about it a lot, and have tested it to see how good it is. Someone at work just sent around her favorite questions that they have posted on their site. I just fell off my chair laughing.

Hold the phone guys, terribly exciting news: Lizzie Fortunato is doing a line of jewelry for Urban Outfitters! Yes, that means that we can now afford her awesome, awesome jewelry. At prices around $40, that is a serious step away from the hundreds her own line costs. Hooray! They’ll be in stores in July under the name Hope Marian, and I can’t wait.

I’m in the mood for floral tights. I feel the same way about them as I do about bold scarves. It’s been miserable weather here since the weekend, and I think they’d cheer me up every time I look down at my legs. I’d wear them with my new platforms (I know, I have a Jeffrey Campbell problem).

I just wanted to give you all a heads-up that the new St Vincent album, Actor, that you all seemed to love as much as me, is out today! The preview is still up on NPR, so you can give it a listen before you buy it. There’s even a bonus song if you buy it on itunes! You won’t be disappointed, I’ve been obsessively listening to it for weeks.

I love getting a peek into other people’s homes, but I love getting a peek at other New Yorker’s homes even more. With a city full of such immensely creative (and not to mention ridiculously rich) people, there’s an endless supply of great interiors. New York Magazine takes a look at some great spaces in this week’s 2009 Home Design Issue, and lucky for us there are lots of the photos online.

Hey, remember that rad This American Life poster that was available to win? Well, it’s now available to purchase for $25! The radio version of “Return To The Scene Of The Crime” is also now online, which I just finished and I loved. It features lots of my favorite people – like Dan Savage, Starlee Kine, and Mike Birbiglia.

I’ve had so many lovely, sunny weekends lately that a meh one was past due.
Friday was super fun taking slide show photos at my friend Anneliis’s place (see/read about the fun here). Then there was some allergy mania going on in our house saturday, then brooklyn fun sunday along with more rain than my little Seattle heart could even handle. I filled this weekend with more general lazyness than I should have.

Lovely, simple finds at shop worthy.
