Giveaway!



I'm excited to announce my first ever giveaway here at For Me, For You! Chickdowntown.com is offering one of you lucky readers this super awesome Elizabeth & James deconstructed tee in grey. Elizabeth and James is a line designed by Ashley and Mark-Kate Olsen, and it's one of the rare celebrity fashion lines I really like. Also, I live in plain tees and thought you guys would like this unique one.

So to enter, just comment below and tell me where you'd wear the shirt. A date? Out with friends? Make sure that you leave your email address if your profile or blog doesn't have it! Also, this giveaway is for US residents only. Giveaway ends July 15th.

Omg, this T is so Mary-Kate Olsen! ^o^ I love the effortless chic look!! I'm a HR consultant by day but totally a slouchy T shirt+beat up denim shorts kind of girl by night.

I will wear this T (if I'm lucky!) with a black skinny jeans (Miss Sixty) to Lollapalooza in Chicago. I have the 3-day pass and I'm going to see Animal Collective!

This shirt is perfect for a Saturday mid-morning trip to the farmer's market, to stock up on fresh produce and the fixings for a delicious french toast. I think it would go well with denim shorts, or a loose and casual skirt.

Of course, I'd wear it lots of times after that, too. It's so hot in NC that it will be perfect year-round!

Just my kind of worn-in style! I would wear it on the first trip away I just planned for August with my husband and new baby, off the coast of Vancouver. what an amazing amazing first giveaway. i'd wear it with this slightly flouncy short pink skirt.. & a long brightly colored necklace... then proceed to skip out of the house & go to a sweet concert i've got coming up in a few weeks (& i'd also be wearing a smile on my face, cuz i'd be so superbly happy with my good luck to have won)

i think i would wear it with a pair of baggy-oversized painter's overalls (the kind with the blue and white stripe). i'd roll up the legs into big rolls with some cute dainty sandalls or ballet flats. and i'd wear some bright red lipstick.

I'll give it a name and call it: Momo (Japanese for Peach) just because I like the name.

Momo & I would ace french exams together, eat tons of ice cream while watching movies on teevee, and profess our love to the boy whom we've a secret crush on (because we want to look naturally cool in jeans & a tee shirt without being overly made up!)

If we're successful at dating that boy, the three of us could even take long walks together in the woods by the waterfalls. I'm sure Momo and I will be best friends :)

This would be the perfect thing for Saturday night dinner and/or drinks with my girls. We can be very casual here in C-ville, and I find that slouchy t-shirts strike the perfect balance of casual and cool. But honestly I'd probably wear it grocery shopping too!

Oooooh, I would wear this tee with a high-waisted little skirt and my killer black open-toed chunk heels, and dress it up with a long, multi-chain necklace. I would then proceed to sit in my local cafe of choice and read and pose surreptitiously for the rest of the day, iced coffee in hand.

i would wear it for twilight summer strolls around the block. i would wear it for morning subway commutes to work. i would wear it lolling in the grass watching the flowers grow. i would wear it with orange-red lipstick and light blush, with jean shorts and pencil skirts and over swimsuits. i would wear it reading in bed. i would love it until the last thread had disintegrated, and then i would repurpose it into something for my dog. it would have a happy life!
