13 lady photographers from around the US got together and went on a trip, taking photos along the way. The results are simply amazing. MarfaTrip. So jealous.

Things you’re missing out on if you’ve never done them before: feeding a goat. hiking while drinking a glass of wine. playing baseball with the teams being homemade slanket wearers vs non-homemade slanket wearers in the sunset (beer induced idea, natch). eating ice cream from stewart’s. standing in a field in the pitch black, totally silent, watching the fireflies. burning trivial pursuit in the stove because it is the worst game on earth (ok, that was just our fantasy idea). turn your phone and computer off for 3 whole days (only cheated one time for 20 minutes).

Last week I was at dinner with Jessica, Samantha, and Jenny and we were discussing some of our obsessions with following the pregnancy progress on Pacing The Panic Room, and how we were all so excited when Ryan announced little Tessa’s birth. I shared with you his awesome photo series of Cole’s pregnancy before, and here is the final photo with the baby above. It’s funny because in the past few months I’ve watched so many other pregnancies on the internet of people I’ve never even met, and I get just as excited about them as my own friends outside of the internet. It’s so much fun to share that experience with people.

Stephentown, NY. Where do I even began? I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves and say it is so, so hard to go back to reality this morning. Part 2 coming later. I’m too late for work already! ha.
I’m stupendously excited because myself and seven friends are all going upstate for the three day weekend to Stephentown, where I went last fall and had a blast (the photo above is from that trip). As you can guess I’m most excited to take 10,000 pictures, relax, and be away from my computer. But of course, my iPhone came today so I can’t escape that completely:) Knowing my recent twitter addiction I probably won’t be able to resist…
I’m leaving tonight and won’t be blogging tomorrow, so have a wonderful weekend! Monday I’ll be back with a massive Bits of My Weekend post, for sure.
Hello everyone! Someday I will post about things other than the shop, but for now I just wanted to let everyone know that if you want to receive emails about when I update the Etsy shop with more necklaces (and other goodies) you can now sign up here, or in the field over yonder on the right side of the blog underneath the etsy widget. If you already emailed me about being on a list, I put you on it already! I’m just so unorganized with my gmail account and it’s getting a bit overwhelming, so I thought I’d be a grown up and start a newsletter. Ooohhh, ahhhh! While I would like to make all the requested necklaces and put them on reserve for certain people, something tells me that might backfire and I don’t want a whole shop of reserved necklaces. So I’ll give you a good heads up and then you can all duke it out for them.
