The Perfect Danish Terrarium

Last night we were walking with our friend Emily down Avenue A when she stopped mid-sentence to press her face against the glass of a boutique and squeal, pointing at a terrarium that she apparently has been on the hunt for. Oh it was indeed lovely, but of course the store was closed. But then today by some crazy luck I was browsing through Julia Rothman's flickr page and came upon a picture of it, with a link! Things fall together like that sometimes. It's pricey, and I know you can make your own easily, but oh so amazing.

Oh, i love it and I love terrariums. Home made and designed. It looks like those vinager/oil bottles. I wonder if it's the same designer.

Terrariums are wonderful - a perfect little green world unto themselves. This one is particularly gorgeous.

Those are beautiful terrariums but it's easy to make your own from things you can practically find around the house!
