laser cut prints

Molly M's laser cut prints are two layers - the top a laser cut design, the bottom a solid background. They're translated from the laser cuts of her jewelry line, but the prints speak to me more. They're simple, yet stunning, and I think they would look fantastic in groups - hanging in a row.

via Martha, who has an excellent post on lovely geometric links.

We do so much laser cutting for grad school (landscape architecture) and sometimes classmates hang up "negatives" to make their desks a more festive. It's fun seeing tries to compose their laser files in visually pleasing ways, and who tends to just slap the pieces on however they'll fit.

I'd never heard of Molly, but see from her website she has either a B.Arch or an M.Arch--surprise!
