A Weakness
I think it's safe to say that there are few things in life that make me happier than good looking office supplies. Things that make me want to sit down at my desk. It's my weakness, right up there with shoes and bags. I cannot be trusted to practice restraint in a Japanese stationery store.

Hi Kate! Just wanted to let you know that Millimeter/Milligram is a Korean store (exciting for me as a Korean!) I'm not assuming that your comment about practicing restraint at a Japanese store was referencing Millimeter/Milligram, but just fyi in case :)

oh man, i totally have the same weakness. i can remember being a little kid and begging my mom to take me to grand and toy so i could try out pens, smell erasers, push calculator buttons and do other nerdy, unchildish things.
I love mm/mg! I spent far too much time there when I was in Seoul.
office/school supplies provide me with endless hours of fun. japanese (or any asian) stationary stores always tempt me into buying things that i REALLY don't need :)
this is entirely unrelated, but have you tried using a fork to crimp the edges of your mini pies? i work at a bakery and it makes mini pies look so much neater than using your thumb/forefinger!
If you were to come to S.F. There is a little strip known as "Japan Town". Inside there mall...there is not one, not two, but three office supply/ stationary stores. One even has a photo booth where you can take your picture with cute animals...Then by a cute frame and put it on your desk.

I just found you through "The Brick House" and noticed this post. I just bought one of those desk tube tidy things at a thrift store in town for 50 cents. I didn't think it was anything special (design wise) but thought it was cool. Thanks for posting about it!

i have a huge weakness for them too. any recommendations here in NYC? I havent been living here long so shops are still an open subject haha
