Giveaway: Forestbound (NOW CLOSED)

I’m super excited to announce a giveaway this week for an amazing Forestbound bag. This is especially awesome because 1. The bag was made specifically for For Me, For You readers and 2. It’s the first ever Forestbound bag giveaway! Don’t you feel special?
The canvas used to construct the bag was salvaged from a large military container cover dated 1972. It’s fully lined with blue and white striped ticking fabric. The handles and adjustable shoulder strap are made from recycled military cotton webbing. And all the hardware used has been recycled from various olde military bags. It measures approximately 22 inches wide, 15 inches tall. Perfect size for a weekend bag!. It retails at $175.
To enter this giveaway, check out the Forestbound etsy shop, and then leave a comment here. I’ll choose a random winner this Thursday, January 14th at 8am EST. closed! the winner will be announced soon!
ps. Make sure there’s a way for me to contact you, through your blog, profile, or an email address you leave in your comment! Mystery people can’t win, because you don’t exist, obviously.

Hello, I have been following your blog for a while and love both the blog and you bags and necklaces. I older than your average blogger and am trying to learn and understand how it all works. My twelve year old has patiently trying to teach me. How does he know all of this? If kid responsibilities allow I will take a class. The reason I am so interested in blogging is that I also have a passion for design and would love to share ideas.
Your bags are inspired they have a wonderful been there forever and will last forever feeling. I make oil paintings and have a series of grapefruit still lives in earth tones that I hope also achieve that muted ancient patina feeling and I have started painting and printing fabric and am trying to achieve the same feeling. I am telling you this because we could trade. Your bag is perfect and would replace my bright blue Ikea shopping bag as my weekend bag. It would upgrade my image considerably. Keep up the good work and I love your business plan! malin

Oh man! A completely gorgeous, stylish vegan bag. Yessss. The handle of the bag I've been using has ripped off three times in the last week, and I just keep saftey-pinning it back on…I clearly need a real bag. But it's hard for me to find bags that are nice and well made and worth the money that aren't made of leather. This is such an awesome find.

This bag would pack a good book, my 1940's striped Thermos of something toasty and then a walk in the woods would be required. Too bad it doesn't come with a treehouse to hide away in.
