A stack of perfection

Speaking of vintage textiles, my heart skipped a beat when I saw this photo from The Vintage Showroom in London on A Continuous Lean. I’d kill for that stack of sweaters to be mine. Oh, those patterns!

    Oooh! Gorgeous. If you're in the mood for vintage textiles, Stella Dallas in Williamsburg just opened a home store with TONS of Navajo and kilim rugs, antique draperies, sheets, blankets, lamps…incredible.

    There are instructions in the book The Crafty Minx to make a patchwork blanket out of recycled old jumpers like these. I'm waiting for Winter stock to be pulled out in our op shops (I'm in Australia – it's still summer here) so I can collect some to cut up and stitch together. These would be perfect! Except I'd also want some to wear…
