Friday Bits
A great bag for summer adventures. I’m quite amazed at the quality for how affordable it was. I had to upgrade from my Fjällräven mini because I couldn’t fit my growing collection of cameras I like to carry around with me some days!
Surprise flowers at work for a sick & busy me from a boy who loves me.
And a unexpected gift – a new cover for my butterfly chair- from some kind guys.

Mmm I’ve been eyeing that backpack for a while! I think it’s the best color out of all of them. I was thinking about buying it for some summer trips. Do you think the magnetic snap and buckle are enough to secure, say, my passport and camera if I were walking some busy foreign streets? Either way it’s hard to pass up at that price!

Lauren – it’s hard to explain, but the straps of the bag are what tighten the bag close at the top – plus with the buckle looped, it would be impossible for the bag to come open unless someone ripped it off of you – which I hope wouldn’t happen!

I’m glad I bought my Fjällraven Kanken in the ‘classic’ size – I use it all the time – but this model is very nice too and works probably better for sligthly dressy outfits.

Sweet backpack. I love the color. I just finally thrifted a little leather backpack and it has made my life much easier….I don’t know how I was surviving without one….Backpacks rule!

The flowers are lovely. What a lucky girl. I’m also loving that new bag and I agree the Fjallraven mini is a bit smaller than I thought too.
