This warm weather lately has me feeling almost ready to switch over to airy, light colored clothing. All the new items at Pixie Market (top) and Ramona West Vintage (bottom) egging me on.

Thirty seconds into this bittersweet, gorgeous, string-filled Nina Nastasia song, and I knew it was my kind of jam. My only complaint is that it’s too damn short.

And while we’re on the topic of girls with awesome voices, can we talk about how awesome this St. Vincent video is? Oh so weird and hilarious. She is too much cute. (as is Fred Armisen, of course.)

A rooftop barbecue in Brooklyn Friday, a bed-ridden boyfriend Saturday lead to me painting the office alllll day and eating diner delivery in bed (french toast and french fries, of course), a walk to the water in bare legs Sunday. A gloriously warm and relaxing weekend – the windows were never closed, a coat barely worn. I thought I’d do something different and keep my yammering short today:) But as always, you can click on the photos for slightly more info on flickr.

Hello friends, I know I’ve been spotty with Friday posts lately, but I think I may do away with them and replace them with something more fun, I just haven’t quite figured it out yet. If you haven’t noticed I like to keep things casual here and fly by the seat of my pants.

I wanted to tell you all that the big jewelry project I’m working on has had it’s deadline extended by two months, and I honestly could not be happier about that – I thought I might tear every hair on my head out. But don’t worry, I’m cooking up a regular shop update for May in place of it, probably with lots of brass drops and ombre braided necklaces, maybe something new if I can get my act together! For now I’m just so happy to have some free time again, especially with gorgeous weather upon us. A barbecue tonight, a visit to the beach perhaps this weekend. I hope yours is relaxing and sun-filled as well!
