Sara Jensen Arrow Patterns
May 25th, 2010

My friend Sara Jensen of Lost Bird Found sent me these patterns she made based on my photo of my arrows. How flipping cool is that? She is such a talented lady, that Sara – as is her little guy Henry, who is way cooler than you. I told her I wanted them as a wrapping paper set, she suggested paper to wrap sandwiches. OMG.

This reminds me of something. The moment you posted your picture with the arrows, i decided to download it. and eventually i used it too, in a t-shirt design. if you’d like to see it, it’s here (the original screenprinted tee looks much better, to be honest);

however many people see it as rye/grain i know it’s your bundle of arrows. and now you do, too. thanks for sharing!

I can also picture is as fabric, esp. the second design. It would make a nice shirt or dress print.

Those are super nice! I’ve been thinking about arrows since the fall, too! About to get my act together and have these printed nice and big. http://jennyflorence.blogspot.com/2009/09/here-are-some-little-roughs-for-print-i.html There must be something in the air…

The paper would be that much cooler if they were to wrap sandwiches. :)

That is just too cool, love the thought of being smug/casual about it at the office when you unwrap your sandwiches. “This paper? Just designed for me by an awesome friend. Yeh, it is pretty cool, isn’t it? No biggie…”

These are brilliant. Sandwich wrappers is the best thing I’ve ever heard. Kate, perhaps sandwich shop will be your next venture?
