Beach Blanket

Though I miss the scenery of the Northwest, New York welcomed me back with summery warm weather and the promise of a trip to the beach this weekend – the first of the summer. I want a blanket like this Steven Alan beauty to take along with me. Oh and my own private beach. And maybe a better swimsuit body. And I’d like to be magically transported to said private beach so I could avoid the subway.

These are adorable! A much better alternative than the neon palm tree beach towels I usually see at the beach. :)

We’re only one month into winter and I’m already missing summer like crazy. I miss sand between my toes and warm sun and my giant stripy beach towel…

WELCOME BACK!
I kept thinking, hmm, I wonder if Kate is having the most marvelous time in Seattle, and I wonder if she’s finding it amusing that her blog is, like any well-trained dog, walking itself while she’s out. Thanks so much for the chance to throw some desert pictures in the mix. It was such a treat!

the blue and white one is my favorite too. went swimming for the first time this summer. it was awesome. a New york beach sounds cold. but maybe it isn’t i think of montauk in the winter at first thought.

This is the best beach accessory I’ve seen in ages. I really hope someone has the sense to stock these in the UK. I would be ALLLL over that if they did.
