Bits Of My Weekend

The Met roof during the magic hour, Sculpture Space, Metropolis (oof, that’s a long one for a crowded theater!), PS1 (the show right now is fantastic), oppressive heat sans an a/c (still), sunbathing, Please Give (meh), mussels and prosecco in Brooklyn with Lauren, truly amazing sunsets, and unimaginable laziness on Monday. Humidity. Oh my lord, humidity. New York, sometimes I shake my fist at you, big time. Currently plotting how to get an a/c home from a store tomorrow. (see: fist shaking at New York.)

Repurposed bird feeder

When Kate from Hello Victory posted some shots of her recent vintage finds styled with this awesome cage, I had to know what the heck it was and where I could get one. Lo and behold, it’s just a suet bird feeder! Of course, I knew it looked familiar. It’s so awesome though not as a bird feeder, especially with the air plants she put inside. I could see it being styled a million different ways. So dang simple.

ps. those cute air plants are from toHOLD on etsy. I pretty much fail big time at plants lately, but I hear air plants are for idiots like me – might have to give them a try. I keep saying I will!

ps. Still waiting for my film to be developed for Bits Of My Weekend! The photo shop is slammed from the 3-day weekend. So it should come tomorrow.
