I realize I’ve posted these songs at one point or another on this blog before, but I’ve been on a crazy vintage Elton John kick lately. I was reading an interview where the interviewer asked someone what song could they listen to any time, any day to put them in a good mood, and it made me think for a while about my own. Of course, Benny And The Jets all the way. Instant mood lifter for a “is it really Monday already?” Monday.

I adore Elton. Tumblewood is an album I never get tired of listening to. Plus, his fun to watch.

elton john was the first person i ever saw in concert aged 11 and i think the love for him has been cemented in place ever since this moment. but sometimes i find it hard to decide what i love more; his music or his amazing collection of glasses that he sported in the 80′s and 90′s!! you just dont get legends like him these days

You know, I look forward to these posts so much. But for me, it’s Music Tuesday due to the rotation of the earth and the time in Australia etc. You make my Tuesdays happy!

I am another one who saw Elton John in concert way-back-when (Vancouver, 1971) and I’ve spent the last 24 hours trying to remember/discover who his supporting act was. To no avail, alas…but these clips made me happy.
