I’ve been so enjoying your last posts about NY.
I know this has nothing to do with tit but I noticed you where reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I just got Larsson’s triology for my brother for Christmas and I was wondering if you liked it. I’m not sure about reading it myself and don’t trust big brother on that kind of stuff because he’s a little more into “dark” books and movies than I am :p
    As always, thanks for sharing!

Claudia, I’m TOTALLY addicted to the trilogy. I’m almost finished with the second book already. They’re not even my usual favorite genre of books, but something about them is so dang addicting. Sure, they’re sometimes a bit disturbing, but you can kind of flip past those parts if you need to.

I love your photos, so creative yet personal. I left New York December 19th too (of 2008).. Hopefully though, there won’t be a freak snowstorm when you guys are landing to make you get stuck on the plane. :)

Janelle, we’re driving, not flying! So I REALLY hope no freak snowstorms come our way, ak!

I’m glad you said that! It’s not my favorite genre of books either and I have to say the portuguese version has a ridiculous depressing title, I thought “no waaay”. But I’ve been hearing so much about how good they are I started to consider reading them.I bought the english version for my brother, I guess I’ll give them a try instead. Thanks!

Hope you enjoy your last NY days!

Have always loved your blog and have followed it continuously since it seemed so relevant to my own life- but I just realized from your Goodbye New York post that I live in an adjacent building from you! We both look out to the same Synagogue, and probably have listened to the same backyard parties in the summer! Thanks for sharing your amazing perspective on New York City from a slightly different vantage point! Good Luck in LA.

Kära, that’s so crazy!!! I actually don’t live there anymore, it’s been over a year now. Did you live there a year ago? It was such a noisy place to live, my main complaint, but such great times were had.
