p.s.: just picked up two rolls of b&w from the lab today. the contact sheets looked too dark and i was quite a bit disappointed. pushing the pics two stops might just be what’s needed. – this is really encouraging!

I started shooting my pictures for a certain project in black & white but I was just telling Geoff that I’m worried they’ll end up looking student-y! I have loved that place from afar for so long. Hope to visit soon. In the meanwhile there is a book about it for anyone who hasn’t had a chance to visit, called “Mr. Wilson’s Cabinet Of Wonder: Pronged Ants, Horned Humans, Mice on Toast, and Other Marvels of Jurassic Technology”. It’s a work of “magic realist nonfiction”… what a genre!
