Bits Of My Weekend

A weekend trip home to Washington to see the family. A short trip, but the perfect amount of family time right before the breaking point of needing alone time! There was a lot of meat eating, boat riding, tubing, sun basking (such a beautiful weekend), margarita drinking, and relaxing going on. At one point I didn’t know what the hell to do with myself there was so much relaxing! I had the most beautiful flight in during sunset, I was glued to the window. Is there anything more beautiful than flying into the Seattle airport on a clear day? I think not.

so much yummy looking food! i know what you mean about the perfect amount of family time – i reach a saturation point & then they start driving me a bit batty :)

No place like home, huh? That’s one of the biggest reasons I’m happy I made the decision to move to NYC from Sweden this summer: Being so close to Philadelphia that I can just take the bus down on a whim. Nothing quite does the trick like (the right amount of) time with family.

Gosh, those trees. I just love it. My brother is going to school in Washington, close to Olympia, so I’m looking forward to using him as an excuse now to go visit the northwest.
