Bits Of My Weekend
I’m trying to finish a roll of film so that I have some wordless posts to schedule while we’re in Phoenix for Christmas, a glorious seven day trip I’m so looking forward to. So, I don’t have much digital this morning to share. But it was a great weekend – kicked off on Friday with an epic walk with Lisa to discover some secret stairs in Silverlake that blew our minds. Then Saturday Will and I got up early, got breakfast take out and drove to Griffith park while we stared at the beautiful view and ate French toast and bacon. We wandered around a little and it felt pretty fantastic to be outside with Will again. Sunday we were complete and total bums, with a little bead making here and there (my hands hate me). We’re easing back into normal life, slowly.

It must’ve felt so good to get outside with Will. I hope things get totally back to normal for you both very soon. Until then I’m sure you guys are enjoying the baby steps.

your cat makes me so happy, it’s silly. she’s like an instant pick-me-up! such a cute shot… :)
so glad things are getting back to normal for you two! i think having a great xmas break will help to organize some of the chaos, especially with family involved. and lucky you to have good weather! *shakes fist* it’s still pretty much raining here. SO depressing.

After things being so crazy it takes a little time for things to feel normal again, but I am glad you are getting there! Lovely pictures! I think your kitty is too cute!

I’m going to be in Sedona/Phoenix with my family after Christmas! Are there any spots you recommend? Sightseeing / food / whatever?

This makes me want to get an SLR camera STAT! Hopefully after the business is over I too can have fancy shots like these. Thanks for the inspiration!

Andrea – honestly we mostly just do family stuff when we’re there, plus the occasional thrift store run (I have no idea where we ever are) BUT if you’re going to Sedona you’ll be near this rad town called Jerome that’s this little artists town/ghost town on top of a hill with a crazy view of Sedona. We have dreams of moving there for a year to get away from it all. Also, pretty sure this is not close (as I remember it), but Arcosanti is magical to visit.
