Bits Of My Weekend

Mostly a working weekend as we’re going to Seattle next weekend and I have to cram in my to-do list in before then. Freelancing doesn’t mean you get to take a vacation whenever you want to without pulling some serious extra weight to make that happen! But, there were tiki drinks and Mexican food with Lisa and a matinee at the Vista (so beautiful) to see The Artist (really great, give that dog an Oscar!). Also, not sure if you knew this but I’m officially 50% cat lady, 50% plant lady these days, so Wendy and the plants fight for Bits attention. They are all my babies. Sometimes Will catches me squatting down by the plants, inspecting them with a q-tip, and just laughs at me.

i was wondering where wendy was in these shots! i need to start some plant-love of my own – that kind of indoor greenery will definitely chase away the january (and february) blues. :)

Your plants are oh, so enviable. I have always thought this. I also envy that you are able to have the cat and the plants live in harmony. Not so for me. My cats destroy plants in hours if given the opportunity.

Your plants all look so beautiful! I have been attempting to keep my plant alive, as all before it have not made it. The one I have currently is doing so well though and I couldn’t be a prouder mama! So I completely understand the love :)

Any tips on what type of plants/containers/soil etc make for a happy indoor garden? I always start to crave more green inside during the winter!
