Some problems with my quest to take more photos of people: when you turn your camera to someone the face they make is often so terribly awkward and uncomfortable, or staged that the magic is lost with what you saw in the shot in the first place. Alternately, in my particular case, friends put their hands up and say, “oh no you don’t, my ugly mug is not being blogged, thankyouverymuch”. All my friends have to know that they could end up right here, for all of you to see. So, for now, I’m sticking to my sly, observer-type style like most of my other photos. Watch out friends, watch out.
