Weekly Music: The Best of 2012

I wanted to squeeze this in before the new year, just in time for parties or a quiet night (points at self) celebrating. Looking at my list from last year, this year blows my mind as it’s over twice as long. I know that freelancing opened me up to constantly needing new music to listen to while working away alone in my studio, but I think also having Spotify and the ability to easily listen to anything had a huge hand in the explosion of music in my life this year. Like last year, I decided to do the best songs of 2012 rather than a best albums list, because there are a lot of songs I was crazy about on albums I wasn’t so crazy about.

I haven’t had time to put this on 8tracks yet, but it’s all on Spotify and I believe you can listen to the embedded playlist below even if you don’t have Spotify.

These are in no particular order. Enjoy!

ps. thank you all so much for the kind, kind words about the covers album!

Oh, I can’t listen to the playlist because Spotify doesn’t work in my country. If you are able to upload it on 8tracks, that would be much appreciated.

  2. Joanna says

I also am unable to listen because spotify is not available in Canada! I would super appreciate it if if you could put up at 8tracks link as it looks like a great playlist…

I just found the little treasure of your blog and can’t wait to check out all the songs on your playlist! I can also recommend 8tracks, I also use it for my playlists and you can even choose a nice cover and title. Best wishes!
